Happy Hyundai Sonata Buyer reviews Gartner Hyundai in Aurora/Naperville IL

Buying a car now a days is a huge deal and alot of dealers are high presure and bug that crap out of you. We bought my Fiances new car the 2011 Sonota w/ Boris, he was knowledgable of the cars and easy going throughout the process. He made car buying less stressful as well as Gartner in Downers Grove had a nice selection of vehicles. Many with the same specs and models and milage where it just came down to the buyers choice on which one.

Although the whole sales pitch for all the extras to tack on to your bill, seemed out of date and not as well explained, being that you watch that little video from the manufactuer.

All and all it was a good experience at this dealer with our Sales person Boris, he very friendly and laid back, even let me take a spin in a new geneius Coupe while we were waiting for paper work process.


Thanks again and we are enjoying our new purchase everyday. With the 10 yr 100,000 miles warranty we made a great choice.

Great Experience - No Pressure Car Sale at Gartner Hyundai in Aurora IL

Boris was very knowledgable about the 2012 Elantra we bought, and showed us all the bells and whistles.  Scott the sales leader was fantastic along with Boris as the salesman.  If I could I would only by from these two in the future, a great buying experience to say the least.

The Elantra is great and will continue to buy Hyundai products in the future.

Boris was awesome. He was patient, explained our options. He never approached my husband or me with a "hard sell." We were able to test drive the car, alone, which I thought was very nice. We received very favorable terms, with the monthly payment and with the trade-in value for our 11-year-old car. Boris is a very good advocate - more than a sales person.

From the minute we walked on the lot he was very attentive ans eventhough it was cold he walked around with us, and explained every detail. We looked at about 3 cars and test drove them without any pressure to buy. He really made the effort to thoroughly inform us and overrall he did a GREAT job. The price was right and we were able to think about our decision. He walked us through the entire process and explained the many, many features of our 2012 Sonata while waiting to seal the deal.

He is indeed a no pressure sales person and he is very knowledgeable and clearly demonstrated the many wonderful features in the car I chose. I had my own pre approved financing, and ordered the color of my choice. When the car arrived, I was there, and Boris made sure I did not have to wait long while service prepared and inspected the car. Hyundai Elantra Customer Has a Good Experience at Gartner Hyundai Saab

I recently stopped in to look at a 2012 Elantra. I arrived shortly after Gartner opened on a Monday morning. Upon walking in the door, Boris greeted me, and took me outside to look at the Elantras that had just been pulled off the truck. Seconds later I was out testing driving it. Boris did a great job of showing me all the features inside and outside of the car and answered all of my questions.  He was friendly and after I decided to purchase the vehicle, Boris told me I could call him on his cellphone if I had any questions or problems. He is not one of those high pressure sales guys and I was really happy with how the sale went.


My only complaint, which I can't blame on Boris at all, is the fact that it took forever to actually sit down and do the paper work with the finance guy. It didn't seem too busy, and I felt like people that were walking in after me we getting bumped in front of me. I was really hoping to get there early, test drive, purchase, and be out quickly, but I spent most of the day sitting at a table with the manual for my new car. Boris was very apologetic, kept asking if I needed anything, and even had my car pulled up front so I could check it out while I waited.


I would defiantly buy a car from Boris and Gartner again and would also recommend them to my family and friends!

Bluelink Learning Experience

My salesman Boris was very friendly and helpful. I told him from the beginning what kind of deal I was looking for and I felt that he dealt with me honestly without trying some of the shenanigans you sometimes see at dealerships. Unfortunately, my low rating is driven from my experience beginning at the point I agreed to the purchase.

I had a very long wait from when I agreed to the deal to when I was actually able to finish signing the papers for the purchase. Boris tried to help pass the time by reviewing the manuals with me, but to be honest, this is something I would prefer to do on my own time. The finance guy was a little pushy with the warranty (which I refused), but hey I understand that he is just trying to do his job.

The real problem came that evening when I used my owners manual to set up my Bluelink account. I set up everything and was all set, until the next morning I get an e-mail saying that my Bluelink account was setup. No one told me that this was being done and I did not give my permission for anyone to use my personal information to set up an account on a website. The account they set up was full of incorrect information including my e-mail address, phone number, and address. I tried to log in to the account I made to find that it was wiped out. I tried to log in to the account they made and the site said the e-mail didn't exist.

While trying to figure out the problem, the Hyundai customer service team and the Gartner team each said that the other was the one that had to fix the problem no less than three different times. No one seemed to know how to correct the issue so they just kept dumping it off on someone else instead of owning it.

It wasn't until a week later that I was able to find out that my info was entred using a different (incorrect) e-mail than the one that was sent! Finally able to log in to the account I was able to fix all the mistakes myself. All that hassle and I was the one to fix the problem! I can't believe no one at Gartner, Hyundai, or Bluelink thought to just look up the e-mail address that was registered with my VIN number....

The car is nice, but given how difficult this situation was to deal with, I will think twice before coming back to Gartner to buy another vehicle.

Thank you for your honest review.  I do apologize for your experience with Bluelink, and from the sound of things, I think we could have handled this better for you.

Bluelink, is a new technology both for you the customer, and us here at Gartner Hyundai.  And, with any new feature and process, there are bound to be a few "speedbumps or headaches" along the way.  Again, your review has prompted us to revisit our Bluelink enrollment processes.  Thank you for the heads up, and again, I do apologize for your inconvenience.

Hyundai VS Toyota - The Santa Fe Wins At Gartner Hyundai In Aurora

My wife and I stopped at Gartner Cars on Ogden Avenue in Aurora Sept. 6th to look at vehicles, not buy. (Earlier in the day we had test driven a Toyota we really liked.) Three hours later we drove out of the parking lot in our new Hyundai San Fe. Salesman Boris Cvijetic, a total stranger, had us test driving a vehicle within minutes of meeting him. He was so knowledgeable, professional, and such a pleasant, young man. He patiently answered our questions, explained the vehicle’s features, and never pressured us. After purchasing it, Boris even programmed our cell-phone numbers into the system so we could make and receive calls driving home. It was a very positive, car-buying experience.
