I must admit that after 11 years since I bought my last car, I was dreading having to go through the lengthy process (several hours at the dealership) of purchasing a new car let alone just looking at the different models I was considering.  I came into the dealership to test drive a car and to obtain more information.  Dell was very helpful, informative, honest and to the point.  He gave me enough information to think about and decide which one would best suit me.  I emailed Dell my decision and from that point the next steps were not what I expected. To my surprise, the financing approval process-which usually takes forever at the dealership-was done via phone/email. I didn't have to use up time in my busy schedule to sit at the dealership and negotiate financing options.  Dell advocated for me and kept me in the loop with statuses as well as updates.  Once this step was completed, the only thing I had to do was come in for the final decisions of warranties, extra options, and finally sign the papers.  I was so relieved that the process was much different from back then.  It saved me time and I really appreciated that Dell respected that.  Thank you.  I may visit again and not just for car services/maintenances ;)

We went to Gartner after a TERRIBLE experience at Grossinger! We walked in and met Jordan and it was great from the start. He was very helpful and found us the car we were looking for. He was very informative and gave us more details about the car than we had gotten from any of the other dealerships we went to. He was honest with us and we didn't get the cheesy car salesman vibe from him at all! The price was also the best we had seen anywhere. We ended up buying the perfect car from him and drove it off the lot that day! We are so happy that we made the decision to leave Lincolnwood and drive to Aurora that day. Seriously, in one day we saw the absolute worst and the best service in two different dealerships. Gartner definitely knows how to make their customers comfortable and feel well informed so that they can make the right decision in buying a car. Even if you live far from Aurora, make the trip to Gartner, it really is worth it!

After researching many cars online, we knew we wanted to purchase a Hyundai Tuscon GLS AWD, not easy to find.  While searching, I was contacted by many Hyundai dealers, but was most impressed by Gartner. I wanted to test drive one, so while out stopped at Gartner Hyundai in Aurora. Bob Walker was the first salesperson to introduce himself. We went for a drive, and my daughter and I loved it. I knew they didn't have the color I wanted in stock, graphite gray, but Bob found out they would be getting one in 10-14 days. He told me I could hold it for $100, so I would have time to get out to see it before someone bought it out from under me! We worked out a price and he said he'd call when it came in. True to his word, Bob called seven days later and said they were taking it off the truck. My husband, who hates the car buying process, went out to take a look at it. We both loved it! Bob went over all the features with then started the paper work. We figured we'd be in and out quickly since a price was already agreed upon. Well we ended up waiting quite a while because of a back up with the finance department. While waiting, Bob took us back out to the car and went over a few more things and synced my phone with the Bluetooth.  That was nice. We finally got in and Jennifer did all the paper work. We loved that they offer and explain all options, but not with a hard sell. We were very happy with our experience at Gartner and with Bob and would definitely recommend both to anyone interested in purchasing a Hyundai! My husband would even go again!

I recently stopped in to look at a 2012 Elantra. I arrived shortly after Gartner opened on a Monday morning. Upon walking in the door, Boris greeted me, and took me outside to look at the Elantras that had just been pulled off the truck. Seconds later I was out testing driving it. Boris did a great job of showing me all the features inside and outside of the car and answered all of my questions.  He was friendly and after I decided to purchase the vehicle, Boris told me I could call him on his cellphone if I had any questions or problems. He is not one of those high pressure sales guys and I was really happy with how the sale went.

My only complaint, which I can't blame on Boris at all, is the fact that it took forever to actually sit down and do the paper work with the finance guy. It didn't seem too busy, and I felt like people that were walking in after me we getting bumped in front of me. I was really hoping to get there early, test drive, purchase, and be out quickly, but I spent most of the day sitting at a table with the manual for my new car. Boris was very apologetic, kept asking if I needed anything, and even had my car pulled up front so I could check it out while I waited.

I would defiantly buy a car from Boris and Gartner again and would also recommend them to my family and friends!

I would like to thank both Eddie and Jim the finance officer at Gartner for the most enjoyable car buying experience I have had in my 63 years. Eddie educated me about the product, gave me all the information about valuable options, and than sat back and allowed me to make my own decisions. No high presure, never felt patronized, and always respected. After offering me what I considered a very fair price for my Hyundai Santa Fe he offered me  additional money saving interest on factory financing. As I sat waiting for my paperwork to be completed I saw Ed outside with a wrench , sweating in an effort to remove the rusted bolts from my license plates so he could install them on my new vehicle. I said Ed get one of the youngsters fron service to do that. His answer, when I start with a customer I handle every thing begining to end myself, I was impressed. I also would like to express my gratetude to Jim the finance officer, for presenting me with the information that allowed me to decide to enjoy a 100,000/10yr bumper to bumper warrentee, for less in a month than I spend on pizza in a week, again no pressure he provided me with the info and I made my own decision. My salesman Boris was very friendly and helpful. I told him from the beginning what kind of deal I was looking for and I felt that he dealt with me honestly without trying some of the shenanigans you sometimes see at dealerships. Unfortunately, my low rating is driven from my experience beginning at the point I agreed to the purchase.

I had a very long wait from when I agreed to the deal to when I was actually able to finish signing the papers for the purchase. Boris tried to help pass the time by reviewing the manuals with me, but to be honest, this is something I would prefer to do on my own time. The finance guy was a little pushy with the warranty (which I refused), but hey I understand that he is just trying to do his job.

The real problem came that evening when I used my owners manual to set up my Bluelink account. I set up everything and was all set, until the next morning I get an e-mail saying that my Bluelink account was setup. No one told me that this was being done and I did not give my permission for anyone to use my personal information to set up an account on a website. The account they set up was full of incorrect information including my e-mail address, phone number, and address. I tried to log in to the account I made to find that it was wiped out. I tried to log in to the account they made and the site said the e-mail didn't exist.

While trying to figure out the problem, the Hyundai customer service team and the Gartner team each said that the other was the one that had to fix the problem no less than three different times. No one seemed to know how to correct the issue so they just kept dumping it off on someone else instead of owning it.

It wasn't until a week later that I was able to find out that my info was entred using a different (incorrect) e-mail than the one that was sent! Finally able to log in to the account I was able to fix all the mistakes myself. All that hassle and I was the one to fix the problem! I can't believe no one at Gartner, Hyundai, or Bluelink thought to just look up the e-mail address that was registered with my VIN number....

The car is nice, but given how difficult this situation was to deal with, I will think twice before coming back to Gartner to buy another vehicle.

My son purchased a 2012 Sonata from Gartner about 1 month ago.

On Saturday, Oct 22 my wife and I went "looking" around for a car were planning on purchasing in the spring of 2012. We weren't set on a specific model, but liked the way my sons car looked. Miles greeted us and we told him we were looking around. He asked what type of car we would be interested in. We told him and he said look around this area, if you have any questions, he would be in the area. After about 10 minutes he came over and asked if we would like to look @ a 2011 demo. It had everything we would be interested in. To make a long story short we purchased the car from Miles, and took it home that night. Miles has to be commened on his honest approach to selling. Nothing pushy about him. We definitely will be back to see him when we are looking for our next car.

My wife and I purchased a 2012 Sonata Limited from Mike Budzinski and are very happy with the car and the way we were treated by Mike.

I had done quite a bit of research so when I went in at the beginning of August and saw Mike I was pretty sure what I wanted. Mike offered a test drive which I took. I was in and out of the dealership within 15 minutes. The next day I came in with my wife and she took a Sonata out for a test ride. We went back in and talked with Mike about the models and options. Mike was very straight forward about the pricing, no games or pressure. I had done online research and the price he quoted was almost identical to the lowest price I could supposedly get online at a dealer over 50 miles away! We felt very confident with Mike and Gartner so we placed our order.

Since the 2012's were just coming out it took a while to get our car, but the wait was worth it. We have been enjoying our Sonata and when it is time to replace our other car we will definately go back to Gartner and ask for Mike!

My husband I went to Gartner on Oct 15th. We were greeted by Boris. He asked what we were looking for we mentioned a Sonata or aTuscan. Boris showed us the Sonata's first. I took a test drive and like it alot. Boris also asked if we wanted to see the tuscan. We decided to test drive it. We really liked that one too. this was a first for us but we decided to buy both vehicles. the dealership didn't have the tuscan that we wanted.Boris told us he could get us what we wanted in a few days. He kept in contact with us throughout the week to let us know what was going on. by Friday Oct.21st. He contacted us to let u s know the car would be in by 5 and that we could come in by 7 to pick them up. when we arrived they were ready to go. while waiting for paper work he took us out and showed us all the features and how they worked. he even programed our cell phones for us. It was nice to have everything ready to go when we got there so we didn''t have to wait along time. He told us if we had any questions to call. He did a great job!!!!!! I would recomend him to anyone. when talking with Boris there was no pressure.

Scott wasn't actually my sales person, that would be Martin Salgado. Martin, was a large part of why I ultimately bought the Accent. Scott almost killed the deal. In addition to, what felt like a pretty blatant bait and swithch (the monthly payments quoted by Phil, a day earlier, was substantially lower than what Scott showed us at close) my attemts to get some answers from Scott as to what was in the price were just simply ignored.

First, Scott was incredibly determined to sell me an exteneded warrenty. Four seperate times I simply asked him what it cost and four seperate times he simply ignored me and kept including it in the price. I finally said NO, loudly and repeatedly, at which point he took it off - but made it very clear that he thought I was a fool for doing so.

Regarding the monthly payment: I, several times, pointed out that what he was quoting was substantilly higher than what Phil (brother?) had quoted and would like to understand why. After being completely ignored I finally left and tracked down Martin and asked him to intercede. Martin was clearly intimidated by Scott but Scott did finally quit generating paperwork long enough to leave and (pretend?) to quiz Phil. Upon his return, Scott informed me "must have made a mistake" and "sign here". SO much for being treated like we "own the place'.

In the end the the price was...OK.. So we bought the car. I like Hyundai, but I would like to know why I would ever buy another one from Gartner.

I was very pleased with the way Jason went over all the financial paperwork with me, when I purchased my new Sonata.  He explained things to me and answered all the questions that I had at the time.   When I got home and re-read the contract on the extended warranty, there was an area that I didn't remember Jason covering with me.  I stopped by the next day to see him.  He was very pleasant, apologized if he didn't cover that part of the contract with me, and remedied my concern about the deductible to my satisfaction.  He never was annoyed by any of my questions or concerns and handled them professionally.  I have to say he was a pleasure to work with, as one of the Business Managers, at Gartner Hyundai/Saab.

I can't say enough about Miles.  He is the kind of salesman every car salesman should be.  He knows the product, goes over all the features of the vehicle, points out things to you that you may not have thought about and answered all my questions or got back to me with an answer, if he didn't know the answer.  He doesn't pressure you into getting options you don't want and he doesn't try pushing you toward a higher end vehicle.  I was all set for the usual high pressure tactics that I've experienced with other salesmen.  It was a pleasant surprise to know that Miles wasn't one of those kind of salesmen.   He is a real gem in the Gartner Hyundai/Saab sales staff.  They should be proud to have him on their team.

If I had gotten the usual high pressure tactics of many car salesmen, it would have turned me off and I wouldn't have purchased my Sonata at Gartner.  Miles proved that you can draw customers in and make a sale without being like that.  I will recommend everyone I know, who is interested in a new Hyundai, to see Miles.

This review is a 2-fer-1...as my best friend and I ended up both buying cars within a few weeks of eachother due to the excellent service from Miles Misek.  Miles initailly helped my friend, Amy lease her first car.  Having gone into the dealership together, we obviously stood out - two young, slightly clueless girls trying to purchase a vehicle.  At every other dealership we went to, we were treated with disrespect and overlooked.  Miles, however, was more than helpful, answering any silly questions we had, speaking in laymans terms, and most importantly, being 100% honest about the whole process.  He was never pushy and never talked down to us.  The day we went into the dealership, my friend found her car in less than 30 minutes - after months of looking at other dealerships in the area.  Miles was easy-going, personable and even helped Amy name her car :)

After seeing my friend's new car, and realizing how simple the car buying process could be, I decided that it was time to get rid of my iradescent/purple Corolla and step up to the big leagues.  Within a few weeks I headed back to the dealership looking to lease my own new set of wheels.  Again, Miles was super helpful and funny, making the whole process easy. He was honest and laid back.  I had visited a few other dealers that day but was back at Gartner Hyundai within an hour as I found no other dealership I was interested in giving my hard earned money to.  Miles was curteous to my mom (who was with me), but spoke only to me as the buyer, never speaking to me through my mother - something I really appreciated.  Additionally, Miles' sales team was excellent in helping me secure my first loan even though I am a student with limited income.  Jason worked magic and helped me set up payments that could handle, again, explaining everything in laymans terms.  The whole process was painless, seamless and satisfying.  Had Gartner not been so great with my friend, they would have never sold two cars to us both so quickly.  We are definitely recommending this dealership to our other friend and her husband who are looking to purchase a vehicle soon!

I go straight to Gartner Hyundai (Naperville) when purchasing another Hyundai.  I over the years I personally have purchased three Hyundais and influenced my nieces to check out the Hyundais at Gartner and they have ended up purchasing three!! 

I had a 2006 Sonata and because of all the nieces, nephews, and grand kids we decided to look at various SUV vehicles.  Did my research and once again nothing out there can come close to matching Hyundai for the dollar.  Ended up purchasing a 7=passenger Vera Cruz and have been super satisfied with the comfort and engine performance.  Mine concern was gas mileage and have found the Vera Cruz has exceeded the mpg for city and highway driving by at least four miles!!

My salesperson Willie Williams was just a delight to work with.  He explained everything in detail and ensured that before I walked out the door that I was 100% satisfied with the vehicle and treatment.  Willie made me promise that if I have any questions or problems with the vehicle to contact him and he'd take care of whatever issue I had.  And, I know he will. 

Once I decided to purchase the vehicle Willie introduced me to Jason Rezman, the business manager who guided me through the process of the purchase and some of the options and services available to me.  Jason was excellent in explaining everything to me and when I left the dealership I felt assured that I got a great vehicle for a great price.  Jason even called my insurance agent and passed along all the appropriate info.  My agent said that she wished more dealers would do as Jason had done.  I of course was suprised and delighted Jason took the time to do something that he didn't have to do.  It was nice to know I did not have to rush to contact my agent and tell them I had purchased a new vehicle.

Hats off to Willie and Jason and the rest of the Gartner team.  I'm confident that the service department will display the same spirit and level of service that I received from the sales staff!!

Sept 27th. after trying to make a deal on a new Honda, which we were not pleased we could not make a deal.We were met at the door by Willie Little, who was very friendly and personable.Mr.Little took time and had a lot of patience with us, we really had no intention of buying a Hyundai but after seeing the Harbor gray Sonata on your showroom floor our interest grew tenfold. Willie said he could put us in that car, so that 's when we got down to business. We were able to get more out of our trade-in enabling us to come to terms. We were very very pleased the way Willie conducted himself during our visit and hence making the deal. By the way we love our Sonata, i had no idea Hyundai's were that great of a car, we think it is one of the best cars we have ever owned. Gartner cars should be very pleased with Willie and the rest of your staff.

The service was friendly but not professional.  It took 3 trips to the service department to fix the power seat control.  The first time the service department took about 2 hours to diagnost the problem.  When the service writer noted that it would take about 1 hour.  Not that big of an inconvienence but worth noting.  

The dealership didn't have the parts, so I rescheduled and they indicated that the dealership would notify me when the parts came in.  The parts came in the notification never occurred.  Over two weeks went by and I finally called.  The parts were in and I could reschedule.  I did.  

I brought the car in at 8 am, the service writer indicated that the car wouldn't take too long.  I left the car and got a lift to work.  At 4 pm the service writer called and indicated that the car wasn't done yet.  Figured about 5:30 pm.  I indicated that I would need a ride back to the dealership, and got put on hold.  After 15 minutes on being on hold, I hung up and called again.  The service writer left for home.  Got put on hold again for another 10 minutes.  Hung up again and recalled, finally the lady asked if she could put me on hold and I indicated that I had already been on hold for about 1/2 hour and didn't want to be on hold again.  She finally got to somene and got a porter to pick me up.  

Waited 25 minutes for the porter to get to my work (trip is usually 10-15 minutes).  

Power seat worrks good again.  Problem solved.

All in all, not a very good experience.  Not terrible, but not good either.  

I'm hoping for a better experience.  But not expecting it.  

This rivals the time before when I went in to get a key reprogrammed.  Service writer indicated that it would be 15 minutes.  After 2 hours, I needed to get back to work and asked for the car back and would reschedule.  Porter pulled the car for me to pick up.  The only problem, it waswrong car.  Apparently, the technician was trying to reprogram my key to the wrong car.  Ureka!!!  Once the technician got the correct car the key was reprogrammed in about 10 minutes.  2 hours 15 minutes for a 10-15 minutes job.  

Again.  Not the end of the world, just not great or even good service.

My wife and I stopped at Gartner Cars on Ogden Avenue in Aurora Sept. 6^th to look at vehicles, not buy. (Earlier in the day we had test driven a Toyota we really liked.) Three hours later we drove out of the parking lot in our new Hyundai San Fe. Salesman Boris Cvijetic, a total stranger, had us test driving a vehicle within minutes of meeting him. He was so knowledgeable, professional, and such a pleasant, young man. He patiently answered our questions, explained the vehicle’s features, and never pressured us. After purchasing it, Boris even programmed our cell-phone numbers into the system so we could make and receive calls driving home. It was a very positive, car-buying experience.

I originally went to the Hyundai in Elgin to look for a car. I will never go back! The salesperson had the stereotypical used car salesman vibe to him. So, I decided to look elsewhere. I am so glad I found Gartner Hyundai! I called to see if there were any 2012 Elantras available, but there weren't any because demand is so high. So I spoke with Lindsey and she helped me find one that was coming in, with the color I wanted and with the preferred package! So I put a deposit on it over the phone and was waiting for it to come in. Canadians take note!!

We bought a 2010 Genesis from Joe Martin at Gartner.  The deal went together quickly and without a hitch.  Pricing and delivery were exactly as agreed and there were no games (like some other dealers try) at all.  We were in and gone within an hour and the car was even better than I expected.  As close to perfect as it could be - hard to tell from brand new!!

They had all the paperwork including a 30 day temp tag ready and waiting (no Illinois taxes due) so we crossed the border the same day (Detroit & Windsor bridge as they are open 24/7) in no time. 

I highly recommend Joe & his Sales Manager Phil Lupo as they were fun to deal with and thoroughly professional.  I would deal with them again in a heartbeat. 

So if you need to get a great car and save money (we saved about $10,000 what with pricing and exchange) you should give Joe a call. 

Great guy, great dealership and a super car.  It does not come better than this.

It's been a couple months since I've bought my car, and wanted to get a full experience with it before writing up a review. So, here goes...

After going to a couple other car dealships to look for a car, we stumbled upon your dealship. I had never bough a brand new car before, and luckily, Miles was there to guide me through the process. I've been in sales pretty much my entire working life, and one thing I really enjoyed about Miles that my family also loved: He wasn't pushy. Miles talked to us as if we've been friends for years, cracking jokes, and making what could/should be a stressful process (I mean, c'mon, who doesn't get stressed about plopping down at least $20k when you're poor?), an easy one. After settling down on a car I fell for, Miles told me he could track one down for me within a couple days with everything I wanted in it. After hearing such sad news, I still reluctantly threw down some cold, hard cash (which, unlike a used car salesman, he didn't pocket), got the finance things worked out and was on my way. A couple days later, I recieve a call from Miles saying he found my car. A couple hours after that, he texted me a picture of my beautiful brand new car (sans pretty girl in a bikini, VERY disappointing). Needless to say, I was on my way to pick up my smoking hot new car (again, sans pretty girl in bikini...you guys really have to work on that), finished up the paperwork, and drove my car on out of there. By the way, the car in question: 2011 Sonata (Sport Edition. Just plop down the extra money. You know you want to....) Seriously, folks that might read this....just buy it. From Miles. You won't disappointed in any capacity. I love that car and everything about it. To describe it's perfection would chew up another review box.

You can't miss Miles, either. He's about 9'5" and according to my mom, looks a great deal like Will Ferrell (he'll kill me for that remark).

I called to get pricing, and they had a no-BS approach and gave me a price cheaper than any other dealer by over $1000. Most dealers wouldn't even give me a price over the phone. Not only was there price lower, but the price included freight too, which most dealers don't do in their quotes. I am extremely happy with the price I paid, and the way I was treated. My salesman was Dell Kegley, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. He is very down-to-earth, funny, knowledgeable, and goes all-out to help (he was making deals for me from home on his off day with a baby yelling in the background). I felt comfortable that everything would work out due to him and other staff members (the manager who's name slips my mind was very friendly and helpful as well). Dell is the exact opposite of the type of person you think of when someone says "car salesman." I mean that in the best possible way. I felt he was on my side, and not being shady or trying to rip me off. He should teach a class on selling cars and customer service. Bill Gage was our loan/finance guy, and he was kind, funny and up-tempo, despite me turning down his warranty extension pitches. He made the paperwork simple, painless, and stress-free. Great job all around. Also, Gartner himself provides an exclusive extended warranty for Hyundai's beyond the manufacturer's, and it is absolutely free (and quite extensive)! It is great to see a man who believes in the product he's selling. One final note: the car I wanted was very hard to find (only like for in the state) but they hunted one down for me and had it ready to go immediately (within 6 hours)! For someone anxious to get their new toy, it was a wonderful surprise to get it that fast! Keep in mind I was initially told it would likely take 4-6 weeks if they had to custom order one. Again, for many reasons (selection, environment, exclusive deals, prices), I would highly recommend this place to people looking for the right deal. I am a proud owner of a new Sonata, which is my first ever new car, and I could not have asked for a better experience. I expected a headache, and was given the king's treatment (everyone seemed to know me by name) instead. Thank you Dell for helping me so much, and thank you Gartner Hyundai for excellent service, and an excellent product! You have created a lifelong customer.

Gartner Hyundai had amazing service, the prices were lower than anyone else around.  Our sales person also did a very good job.  Overall, I am very pleased and thankful that I chose to go to Gartner Hyundai once again.

Stopped in late evening to check out a Sonata and was greeted by my salesman Bob Walker. Bob was very informative, pleasant to talk with and very low pressure. it got to be 9 PM and I was very interested in the Sonata but didn't want to move forward without a test ride and said I would be back the next evening. Thats when I was asked if I would like an extended test ride by taking the car home and bringing it back the following evening. I declined to take the car home but did come back the following evening and made the car deal with Bob. The pleasant process continued in financing will Bill Gage.
