Buying a car now a days is a huge deal and alot of dealers are high presure and bug that crap out of you. We bought my Fiances new car the 2011 Sonota w/ Boris, he was knowledgable of the cars and easy going throughout the process. He made car buying less stressful as well as Gartner in Downers Grove had a nice selection of vehicles. Many with the same specs and models and milage where it just came down to the buyers choice on which one.

Although the whole sales pitch for all the extras to tack on to your bill, seemed out of date and not as well explained, being that you watch that little video from the manufactuer.

All and all it was a good experience at this dealer with our Sales person Boris, he very friendly and laid back, even let me take a spin in a new geneius Coupe while we were waiting for paper work process.

Thanks again and we are enjoying our new purchase everyday. With the 10 yr 100,000 miles warranty we made a great choice.

The short version:
Honest, no pressure, friendly salesman who excels at his job and is a great communicator (Jordan) and a super-nice finance guy (Bill) make buying a car a great experience!

The long version:
I knew the car I was looking for (Sonata SE Turbo), and traded e-mails regarding an online quote request with Jordan Kabranov. As said in another review, Jordan provided a straight-forward price without the usual back-and-forth. When I asked to set up a time to come in and test-drive one and have my old car appraised at the same time, he was quick to agree to my suggested time. When my husband and I arrived for the first time, we were quickly greeted by Jordan, who sent us on a test-drive while my car was appraised. When we returned, Jordan quoted a fair trade-in price on the car, and was quick to help me locate a Sonata in the color I wanted at another lot. He didn’t try any high-pressure tactics or make me feel uncomfortable at any time (which I had felt after visiting some other dealers in the area while looking for the car I wanted). He provided a true no-pressure and no-hassle experience. Communication was also spectacular – Jordan was very responsive to my e-mails, and also called me with updates when my car was delivered and prepped. As soon as my husband and I arrived to finalize the sale the next day, Jordan took us to see the car, and then got Bill, the finance guy, to take care of the paperwork. Bill was also outstanding, not pressuring us with any of the add-ons or extras and was very laid-back in the whole dealing while still being very professional, which helped me feel relaxed and not stressed in any way. Finally, Jordan walked us out to the car and helped with several of the setup options, thoroughly explaining the ins-and-outs of my car. I never thought buying a car would be enjoyable, but the people at Gartner Hyundai made it a great experience. Best of all, I drove away in the exact car I wanted that fits my needs perfectly!

I was lucky enough to work with Mike Wiley after making an internet-based offer on a 2012 Hyundai Accent that hadn't even been delivered to the dealership yet.

Erik is a very helpful associate. I came into the Aruora location looking for a small Suv with one vehicle in mind. I have not done a lot of car shopping before and being a woman I knew that I was going to be treated differently and I was expecting to be talked down to. But none of that happened at this location. Dear Mr. Gartner,

First, let me thank you for a fine product and excellent service.  My Hyundai Santa Fe, my first, has brought nothing but pleasurable driving and reliable service.  Your service department is considerate and efficient.  I wanted, though, to share a particular experience that was remarkable and very much appreciated.

A light appeared on my dashboard panel that was a mystery to me and after referring tomy car manual was of concern.  I immediately drove to your service department where I was greeted by a man walking by, Norbert.

Norbert quickly determined the cause was the detached cord attaching the gas cap to the place where the gas goes had kept it from completely closing.  When I mentioned that the cord had been broken for a long time and that I was told there was no way to repair it, he excused himself for a moment and returned with an innovative way to repair it.

For him to take the time to do this empressed me greatly.  For him to create such an innovative solution on such a random problem was also impressive.

If I were a business owner, it would please me greatly to know I had on staff a person who happened to be walking by but took the time to inquire as to my problem and then made special efforts to remedy it.  The creative thinking is an added bonus.  Kudos to you and to Norbert.  Thank you.

This review is for two transactions I have had with Gartner Hyundai in the last 60 days.  In both dealings, I worked with Erik Carrizales as the sales rep and Jason in the finance office.

The first car I purchased was a 2012 Genesis R-Spec.  I came to Gartner through Internet research looking for the model I wanted and decided to work with Erik based on three initial things.  First, his very professional and timely response to my questions. Second, the willingness to quote with no pressure pricing before I even walked in the door, and three his flexibility in scheduling a guaranteed time to meet with me on the weekend to accomodate my crazy travel schedule for work.  I actually ended up being able to make it in a day earlier than scheduled and Erik greated me and informed me that the color I wanted in the model had sold before I could arrive, but he was very willing to source the car still for me.  Then he helped me make an educated decision for the same car in a different color, that I couldn't be happier with the decision.

Having already worked out the pricing with all the applied discounts and promotions, it was a smooth handover to Jason in finance.  We finished the paperwork in a timely fashion and then Erik took me through an excellent delivery process for the car ensuring I was very comfortable with all the bells and whistles my new purchase had coming my way.

The great impression Erik made on me and the purchase process made it easy to return this past weekend to purchase a new car for the wife.  We purchased a 2013 Elantra with all the options my wife wanted.  Erik really impressed me as we called him to ask about coming in on Sunday as we were returning from LA on Saturday and he told us they weren't open on Sunday, but he would be happy to meet with us on Saturday after we landed.  We confimed the details on the plane in LA before take off and saw him in person about 5 hours later.  Erik showed my wife all the available options and diffeent models Sonata, Tucson, and Santa Fe just to give her a full set of choices.  She was most happy with the new 2013 Elantra and we decided to purchase.  

This time we didn't have a trade in and we decided to just purchase the car outright.  Erik did his part and a great job again the second time around.

The only sour point to this story was when working with Jason again in finance to finish what was much less paperwork.  He was visibily less interested in us the second purchasing time as we were purchasing in cash, not taking any extend Zurich product offerings, and wished to maximize our miles earning potential by putting a portion of our purchase on a credit card.  He still completed the paperwork in a timely fashion, but he didn't seem as happy to help us with our business the second time around.  I realize finance guys make their money on GAP, product warranty upsells, etc, but have done almost $60k of business with the dealership in 60 days, I would have expected a little more here.

All in all, I have no reservations about recommending Gartner or Erik Carrizales for anyone who is looking for a car to do business with and we have already passed on feelings with friends looking as well.

We were greeted by Jesse Sanchez who told us that he had only been with Gartner for two weeks.  He showed us your best selling model, Sonata, but we felt too low to the ground to take it for a test drive.  We than went for a test drive in a Santa Fe.  We had driven 7 Saturns because we loved the brand so much.  Of course, GM no longer makes the Saturn Brand so we needed to find another good brand and we chose Hyundai.  Our previous car had been totalled so we decided to look for a crossover vehicle.  We did look at two other branded cars and came back to Gartner for what we determined to be the best choice with the best terms.  Jesse was upfront with us and told us when he didn't know something, but then he went and found the answers.  We were very impressed with the whole experience and would have not problem in referring others to your shop.

Excellent Customer Service at Gartner Hyundai! I initially did an internet search for the Sonata finally coming into the Gartner location. Ken Braxton was very professional, personable and low pressure. Once we came to an agreement on the price I purchased the vehicle. Overall I am very pleased with your staff especially Ken Braxton at Gartner Hyundai and wanted to let him and your team know I had an excellent experience working with your dealership and that is why I gave a five for salesmanship.

The only issue and disappointment I had after purchasing the Sonata I found the basic warranty (5 year 60k mile) does not cover everything.  This was one of the features I thought “WOW” if Hyundai covers everything for 60k miles they must have a great product.  I also thought I could save money by not purchasing an extended warranty.  I ended up paying for the extended warranty because I was concerned of what was covered only for "one year" which left me somewhat disappointed.

I did an internet search for a specific used car with specific features I wanted.  Gartner Cars had one for sale at a reasonable price with moderately low mileage, so I made an appointment.  Willie Little was my salesman.  He was very professional, personable and low pressure.  I wasn't able to dicker about the price of the used car but was able to dicker to get a higher price for my trade.  I was satisfied and we made a deal.

I'd also like to mention Bill Gage in Finance.  I had my checkbook with me but forgot the title for my traded car.  He was also very professional and low pressure and allowed me to drive my "new" used car home with just a down payment with a promissory note for the rest and a promise from me to furnish him with the title asap.  Two weeks later I still could not find the title, so when I went in to pay off the promissory note, I also paid the fee ($95) for a duplicate title (just as I would have at a Secretary of State facility.)

The bottom line is they work with you to get your business.  Everyone was very friendly, professional and low pressure.  While I've heard of nightmare experiences from people just looking at cars, I had a very easy, pleasant experience buying my car from them!  I would definitely recommend my friends to them!

I was at the Bulls game Thursday night and I mentioned to my friend that I needed to buy a car Saturday. He asked what kind, and I said Hyundai. He told me he just bought one and to call Russ Rigo. Sat morning I called Russ and told him I was going to buy a car from a dealership in Elgin. I told him the deal I wanted and he said he would see what he had and call me back. He called in 20 minutes, put the deal together and I went there at 11:00 to get my car. Russ, his sales manager, the finance department - all were very professional and extremely friendly. They saved me a 2 hour round trip, got me a better car, and I bought in Naperville! I am extremely impressed with the entire buying experience.

Excellent awareness of my needs as a customer and answered all questions about the car I was interested in. Up front and honest.

Ahmad Aburas did a great job answering my questions about the Elantra, explaining features, etc.  He didn't pressure me at all, which I really liked.  He approached me on the car lot to introduce himself but after telling me he was available to answer my questions, he let me browse on my own until I was ready to talk.  He was very pleasant and personable.  He helped me adjust mirrors & seat and set up the radio after I purchased my Elantra (something that I certainly could have done myself).  He also explained the air compressor/sealant that replaces the spare tire because I was a little nervous about not having a spare tire.  He really went the extra mile to help me.  If I hear of anyone looking for a Hyundai, I would recommend Ahmad Aburas and Gartner Hyundai to them.

I also was happy with the paperwork process after I purchased my car.  It seemed to go smoother than I remember my experience of 8 1/2 years ago when I bought my first Hyundai at Gartner.  The process was efficient and again, there was no pressure.

Boris Cvijetic is a very attentive, knowledgeable, soft spoken person, who is willing to go an extra mile to get good results.  The vehicle we were looking for and the vehilcle color are not readily availabe at any dealership.  Boris found our vehicle in the color we wanted.  In fact the vehicle was at the dearship the very next day.  Boris went over the car's manual with us, explained what services we can receive at Gartner's Service.  He made us acquainted with our new car, showing us every possibble function.  He answered all our questions and promised to be availabe if we have any more questions or concerns.  We are very happy with our new vehicle.  At Gartners we received great service, and will be recommending the dealership to friends and family. I went into Gartner Hyundai looking to get infomation on the Santa Fe, after I had looked on-line at Hyundai.com. We looked around and we approached a salesman to talk to about the Santa Fe. Mike Wiley gave us all the information we were asking about and his expert opinion and advice on the Santa Fe.  He offered us a test drive but I was reluctant because it was rush hour, I said I was going to go home and get dinner and we would come back later. Mike suggested we take the Santa Fe home, so we talked some more and I asked about pricing. Mike got me a price and I was amazed, I took the car home and I called my older brother who had bought a new Santa Fe late last year in Milwaukee, I told him the price I was quoted and he said it was a better deal than he recieved. I loved driving the New Santa Fa it was like driving my Hyundai Accent but at a much grander scale. We told Mike that we were very intrested and would come back on Saturday, Mike called on Friday to see what we thought, I said we were sold on the car. Mike took down some information and suggested we come in that afternoon to fill out the loan information to avoid the Saturday rush. We came in and started the process, Mike introduced us to Bill in financing. Bill took down more information and told us he would find me a loan, I let him know that I didn't have super credit, he told me it was not outstanding but he had seen worse, Bill tried to get us a great loan and succeded, then he called us 3 days later and told us he had gotten us a better deal with a different loan company. (I know from the past that no other loan manager would ever try to get you a better deal on a loan once you have taken the car off of the lot)

Ken is a great asset to your sales team.  He has excellent communication skills, is very articulate, and is very "comfortable in his skin", which makes a prospective buyer relaxed and comfortable.  He is not pushy.  He is very honest, freely admitting if he doesn't know something and will proceed to find the answer.  He is obviously happy with his job, which makes it a pleasure working with him.  I was debating between a Toyota and Hyundai, and after spending five minutes with him, I knew I was going with a Hyundai.  I trusted him and wanted to give him my business. 

His keen storytelling ability about Hyundai and how it has become one of the top car manufacturers was another selling point.  I like Hyundai's philosophy and hope they continue to value their customer.

I called the Service Department to find out if I could get a new tail light assembly for my Tucson.  The Service rep said they didn't have one in stock but said she could transfer me to the Parts Dept and they would order one.  I talked to the Parts Dept rep.  I described the car.  He said he'd order the part and it would arrive within several days.  I asked if it was ok for me to schedule a service appointment beyond that time frame and he said yes.  He transferred me back to Service and I made the appointment for two weeks later.  Two weeks later I arrived for my apppointment.  I went to the waiting room.  An hour went by.  The Service rep came and told me the Parts Dept never had ordered the part.  It took an hour to figure that out?  And why wouldn't you have a process in place to check on the part's arrival before my service appointment?  Worst of all for you, I got the impression from the pretty casual attitude of your staff that this kind of thing happens often.  If I owned your business I would be deeply embarrassed and would offer something to the customer to demonstrate my concern for having inconvenienced him through my mistake and my commitment to do better in the future.  Your staff clearly isn't trained for that and I conclude it must be because you don't care.  Having been in the vehicle business myself for over 30 years, I still am amazed at how car dealers like you pay so little attention to the parts and service side of their business versus the vehicle sales side. Your best margins are in parts and service and none of your effort goes there.  Please don't reply to this comment.   I am not inviting a dialog.

I have been a SAAB person since 1985 and have wanted to wait for the new 2013 SAAB 9-5 wagon, but with the possible end of SAAB being very real, I felt I needed to start to look for a clean low milage 9-5 wagen. Would I find anything was my concern. I started in Pittsburgh, PA and had to keep increasing the distance for my search, finally at just over 500 miles (9 1/2 hours) away, I found what I was looking for at Gartner SAAB!  A very clean, well taken care of, low mileage 2008 SAAB 9-5 wagon.  The color and options were perfect as well.  I contacted them immediately from the website "contact us" and within a few days, I was ready to pick up my NEW car.  Joe Martin was great, he handled all the details and took great care of me.  He was proffesional, kind and even spoke "SAAB" with me while the paperwork was getting ready. (SAAB people know what that is).  NOTE: he also had the original dealer brochures and the window sticker as well.  Thanks Joe!

The car was like new, except for a few scatches under the front bumper and the steering wheel being off center, it was perfect.  It was spotlessly clean, it smelled like a new car, (not with loads of detail perfume to cover everything up).  The glass was spotless, even on the inside! 

For the signing of the paperwork, I had a little bit of a wait due to the busyness of a car dealership on a nice saturday afternoon in (Chicago), in February, but that was a good sign, people are standing in line waiting to buy a car from them!  So, that confirmed in my mind, I was at a good place.

Once I started my 9 1/2 hour drive home in my new car, I enjoyed the car more with every mile, I hit rain, wind, snow, freezing rain and even fog along the way. It drove great.  The next day I had a minor issue and I had sent Joe an email.  Within a few days, they got back to me and had solved the problem.  

Bottom line, I stumbled onto a great group of people that just happened to have the car I was looking for.  I do recommend them and if SAAB ever comes back, I will consider buying my new 9-5 wagon from them.  But next time, I will not make the trip up and back the same day!  Thanks Gartner!

This is the first car buying experience where I felt good about the service I received and the price I paid. My wife and I drove on the lot about an hour before closing on a Saturday. Russ Rigo greeted us and answered our questions about a used Nissan Rogue they had. At no time did we feel like we were being pushed out since they were getting ready to close. Instead Russ was happy to get the keys so we could have a test drive. Russ wasn't pushy but rather informative and was more interested in our needs rather than trying to make a sale. Russ was very happy to hold the car till Monday. When we came back, Russ greeted us by name (1st time that's ever happened to me at a dealership) and got the keys for us to take another drive. I will recommend Gartner Hyundai to anyone wanting to purchase a vehicle! And if I'm still in the area in the future, my next auto purchase will definitely be from Gartner Hyundai! Thanks Russ!

Thank you to Mike Wiley, Brian Schwarz and Bob Walker of the sales team for making my first Hyundai purchase the most pleasant car purchase ever.    I stopped in for a test drive and information on the new 2012 Hyundai Elantra and spoke with Bob Walker.  I fell in love with the car, but had to wait a few days for the perfect model to be delivered.

I must admit that after 11 years since I bought my last car, I was dreading having to go through the lengthy process (several hours at the dealership) of purchasing a new car let alone just looking at the different models I was considering.  I came into the dealership to test drive a car and to obtain more information.  Dell was very helpful, informative, honest and to the point.  He gave me enough information to think about and decide which one would best suit me.  I emailed Dell my decision and from that point the next steps were not what I expected. To my surprise, the financing approval process-which usually takes forever at the dealership-was done via phone/email. I didn't have to use up time in my busy schedule to sit at the dealership and negotiate financing options.  Dell advocated for me and kept me in the loop with statuses as well as updates.  Once this step was completed, the only thing I had to do was come in for the final decisions of warranties, extra options, and finally sign the papers.  I was so relieved that the process was much different from back then.  It saved me time and I really appreciated that Dell respected that.  Thank you.  I may visit again and not just for car services/maintenances ;)

We went to Gartner after a TERRIBLE experience at Grossinger! We walked in and met Jordan and it was great from the start. He was very helpful and found us the car we were looking for. He was very informative and gave us more details about the car than we had gotten from any of the other dealerships we went to. He was honest with us and we didn't get the cheesy car salesman vibe from him at all! The price was also the best we had seen anywhere. We ended up buying the perfect car from him and drove it off the lot that day! We are so happy that we made the decision to leave Lincolnwood and drive to Aurora that day. Seriously, in one day we saw the absolute worst and the best service in two different dealerships. Gartner definitely knows how to make their customers comfortable and feel well informed so that they can make the right decision in buying a car. Even if you live far from Aurora, make the trip to Gartner, it really is worth it!

After researching many cars online, we knew we wanted to purchase a Hyundai Tuscon GLS AWD, not easy to find.  While searching, I was contacted by many Hyundai dealers, but was most impressed by Gartner. I wanted to test drive one, so while out stopped at Gartner Hyundai in Aurora. Bob Walker was the first salesperson to introduce himself. We went for a drive, and my daughter and I loved it. I knew they didn't have the color I wanted in stock, graphite gray, but Bob found out they would be getting one in 10-14 days. He told me I could hold it for $100, so I would have time to get out to see it before someone bought it out from under me! We worked out a price and he said he'd call when it came in. True to his word, Bob called seven days later and said they were taking it off the truck. My husband, who hates the car buying process, went out to take a look at it. We both loved it! Bob went over all the features with then started the paper work. We figured we'd be in and out quickly since a price was already agreed upon. Well we ended up waiting quite a while because of a back up with the finance department. While waiting, Bob took us back out to the car and went over a few more things and synced my phone with the Bluetooth.  That was nice. We finally got in and Jennifer did all the paper work. We loved that they offer and explain all options, but not with a hard sell. We were very happy with our experience at Gartner and with Bob and would definitely recommend both to anyone interested in purchasing a Hyundai! My husband would even go again!

I recently stopped in to look at a 2012 Elantra. I arrived shortly after Gartner opened on a Monday morning. Upon walking in the door, Boris greeted me, and took me outside to look at the Elantras that had just been pulled off the truck. Seconds later I was out testing driving it. Boris did a great job of showing me all the features inside and outside of the car and answered all of my questions.  He was friendly and after I decided to purchase the vehicle, Boris told me I could call him on his cellphone if I had any questions or problems. He is not one of those high pressure sales guys and I was really happy with how the sale went.

My only complaint, which I can't blame on Boris at all, is the fact that it took forever to actually sit down and do the paper work with the finance guy. It didn't seem too busy, and I felt like people that were walking in after me we getting bumped in front of me. I was really hoping to get there early, test drive, purchase, and be out quickly, but I spent most of the day sitting at a table with the manual for my new car. Boris was very apologetic, kept asking if I needed anything, and even had my car pulled up front so I could check it out while I waited.

I would defiantly buy a car from Boris and Gartner again and would also recommend them to my family and friends!

Eddie educated me about the product, gave me all the information about valuable options, and than sat back and allowed me to make my own decisions. No high presure, never felt patronized, and always respected. After offering me what I considered a very fair price for my Hyundai Santa Fe he offered me  additional money saving interest on factory financing. As I sat waiting for my paperwork to be completed I saw Ed outside with a wrench , sweating in an effort to remove the rusted bolts from my license plates so he could install them on my new vehicle. I said Ed get one of the youngsters fron service to do that. His answer, when I start with a customer I handle every thing begining to end myself, I was impressed. I also would like to express my gratetude to Jim the finance officer, for presenting me with the information that allowed me to decide to enjoy a 100,000/10yr bumper to bumper warrentee, for less in a month than I spend on pizza in a week, again no pressure he provided me with the info and I made my own decision. I realize these are not the kind of things one is used to hearing about a car dealership, but  believe me I will be back to take advantage of their service dept. and eventialy to purchase another car. Give them a try I think you'll be glad you did.

My salesman Boris was very friendly and helpful. I told him from the beginning what kind of deal I was looking for and I felt that he dealt with me honestly without trying some of the shenanigans you sometimes see at dealerships. Unfortunately, my low rating is driven from my experience beginning at the point I agreed to the purchase.

I had a very long wait from when I agreed to the deal to when I was actually able to finish signing the papers for the purchase. Boris tried to help pass the time by reviewing the manuals with me, but to be honest, this is something I would prefer to do on my own time. The finance guy was a little pushy with the warranty (which I refused), but hey I understand that he is just trying to do his job.

The real problem came that evening when I used my owners manual to set up my Bluelink account. I set up everything and was all set, until the next morning I get an e-mail saying that my Bluelink account was setup. No one told me that this was being done and I did not give my permission for anyone to use my personal information to set up an account on a website. The account they set up was full of incorrect information including my e-mail address, phone number, and address. I tried to log in to the account I made to find that it was wiped out. I tried to log in to the account they made and the site said the e-mail didn't exist.

While trying to figure out the problem, the Hyundai customer service team and the Gartner team each said that the other was the one that had to fix the problem no less than three different times. No one seemed to know how to correct the issue so they just kept dumping it off on someone else instead of owning it.

It wasn't until a week later that I was able to find out that my info was entred using a different (incorrect) e-mail than the one that was sent! Finally able to log in to the account I was able to fix all the mistakes myself. All that hassle and I was the one to fix the problem! I can't believe no one at Gartner, Hyundai, or Bluelink thought to just look up the e-mail address that was registered with my VIN number....

The car is nice, but given how difficult this situation was to deal with, I will think twice before coming back to Gartner to buy another vehicle.

My son purchased a 2012 Sonata from Gartner about 1 month ago.

On Saturday, Oct 22 my wife and I went "looking" around for a car were planning on purchasing in the spring of 2012. We weren't set on a specific model, but liked the way my sons car looked. Miles greeted us and we told him we were looking around. He asked what type of car we would be interested in. We told him and he said look around this area, if you have any questions, he would be in the area. After about 10 minutes he came over and asked if we would like to look @ a 2011 demo. It had everything we would be interested in. To make a long story short we purchased the car from Miles, and took it home that night. Miles has to be commened on his honest approach to selling. Nothing pushy about him. We definitely will be back to see him when we are looking for our next car.

My wife and I purchased a 2012 Sonata Limited from Mike Budzinski and are very happy with the car and the way we were treated by Mike.

I had done quite a bit of research so when I went in at the beginning of August and saw Mike I was pretty sure what I wanted. Mike offered a test drive which I took. I was in and out of the dealership within 15 minutes. The next day I came in with my wife and she took a Sonata out for a test ride. We went back in and talked with Mike about the models and options. Mike was very straight forward about the pricing, no games or pressure. I had done online research and the price he quoted was almost identical to the lowest price I could supposedly get online at a dealer over 50 miles away! We felt very confident with Mike and Gartner so we placed our order.

Since the 2012's were just coming out it took a while to get our car, but the wait was worth it. We have been enjoying our Sonata and when it is time to replace our other car we will definately go back to Gartner and ask for Mike!

My husband I went to Gartner on Oct 15th. We were greeted by Boris. He asked what we were looking for we mentioned a Sonata or aTuscan. Boris showed us the Sonata's first. I took a test drive and like it alot. Boris also asked if we wanted to see the tuscan. We decided to test drive it. We really liked that one too. this was a first for us but we decided to buy both vehicles. the dealership didn't have the tuscan that we wanted.Boris told us he could get us what we wanted in a few days. He kept in contact with us throughout the week to let us know what was going on. by Friday Oct.21st. He contacted us to let u s know the car would be in by 5 and that we could come in by 7 to pick them up. when we arrived they were ready to go. while waiting for paper work he took us out and showed us all the features and how they worked. he even programed our cell phones for us. It was nice to have everything ready to go when we got there so we didn''t have to wait along time. He told us if we had any questions to call. He did a great job!!!!!! I would recomend him to anyone. when talking with Boris there was no pressure.

Having purchased a vehicle from Eddie in 2008, I was back to purchase a new Santa Fe last week. Scott wasn't actually my sales person, that would be Martin Salgado. Martin, was a large part of why I ultimately bought the Accent. Scott almost killed the deal. In addition to, what felt like a pretty blatant bait and swithch (the monthly payments quoted by Phil, a day earlier, was substantially lower than what Scott showed us at close) my attemts to get some answers from Scott as to what was in the price were just simply ignored.

First, Scott was incredibly determined to sell me an exteneded warrenty. Four seperate times I simply asked him what it cost and four seperate times he simply ignored me and kept including it in the price. I finally said NO, loudly and repeatedly, at which point he took it off - but made it very clear that he thought I was a fool for doing so.

Regarding the monthly payment: I, several times, pointed out that what he was quoting was substantilly higher than what Phil (brother?) had quoted and would like to understand why. After being completely ignored I finally left and tracked down Martin and asked him to intercede. Martin was clearly intimidated by Scott but Scott did finally quit generating paperwork long enough to leave and (pretend?) to quiz Phil. Upon his return, Scott informed me "must have made a mistake" and "sign here". SO much for being treated like we "own the place'.

In the end the the price was...OK.. So we bought the car. I like Hyundai, but I would like to know why I would ever buy another one from Gartner.

Our General Manager had a long discussion with Scott. And although he was doing his job (offering products and services that may be beneficial), he agreed that he could have explained the breakdown of pricing in a better manner. 

I assure you, this is not how Gartner Hyundai Saab conducts business, and sometimes it takes a little eye opener to make sure our processes are being followed correctly 100% of the time.  If there is anything you feel we can do to help rectify the situation so that you feel comfortable to continue doing business with Gartner Hyundai Saab, please feel free to contact Jim Whitgrove, our General Manager.  After all, Customer Satisfaction always has been and always will be our primary goal.

I was very pleased with the way Jason went over all the financial paperwork with me, when I purchased my new Sonata.  He explained things to me and answered all the questions that I had at the time.   When I got home and re-read the contract on the extended warranty, there was an area that I didn't remember Jason covering with me.  I stopped by the next day to see him.  He was very pleasant, apologized if he didn't cover that part of the contract with me, and remedied my concern about the deductible to my satisfaction.  He never was annoyed by any of my questions or concerns and handled them professionally.  I have to say he was a pleasure to work with, as one of the Business Managers, at Gartner Hyundai/Saab.

I can't say enough about Miles.  He is the kind of salesman every car salesman should be.  He knows the product, goes over all the features of the vehicle, points out things to you that you may not have thought about and answered all my questions or got back to me with an answer, if he didn't know the answer.  He doesn't pressure you into getting options you don't want and he doesn't try pushing you toward a higher end vehicle.  I was all set for the usual high pressure tactics that I've experienced with other salesmen.  It was a pleasant surprise to know that Miles wasn't one of those kind of salesmen.   He is a real gem in the Gartner Hyundai/Saab sales staff.  They should be proud to have him on their team.

If I had gotten the usual high pressure tactics of many car salesmen, it would have turned me off and I wouldn't have purchased my Sonata at Gartner.  Miles proved that you can draw customers in and make a sale without being like that.  I will recommend everyone I know, who is interested in a new Hyundai, to see Miles.

The 2012 Veloster was a present from me to our 41 year old daughter.  She did the research and picked out the vehicle, color and options.  From there, I took care of the leg work.  We chose a reliable dealer close to where Michelle works as a school teacher.  By some stroke of luck, I had Miles Misek as my salesman.  I have purchased a lot of vehicles in my 69 years, but have never encountered a salesman as knowledgable and efficient as Miles.  He is very personable and kept us well informed through out the process which was very important to us.  If you could just clone Miles, we think you could double your sales.  We absolutely love him.  He continued with follow up after the sale.  We will be recommending him to all our friends and will more than likely purchase additional vehicles through him.  On a one to five scale we give him a ten.  My daughter echo's my sentiments.
