I have been a SAAB person since 1985 and have wanted to wait for the new 2013 SAAB 9-5 wagon, but with the possible end of SAAB being very real, I felt I needed to start to look for a clean low milage 9-5 wagen. Would I find anything was my concern. I started in Pittsburgh, PA and had to keep increasing the distance for my search, finally at just over 500 miles (9 1/2 hours) away, I found what I was looking for at Gartner SAAB!  A very clean, well taken care of, low mileage 2008 SAAB 9-5 wagon.  The color and options were perfect as well.  I contacted them immediately from the website "contact us" and within a few days, I was ready to pick up my NEW car.  Joe Martin was great, he handled all the details and took great care of me.  He was proffesional, kind and even spoke "SAAB" with me while the paperwork was getting ready. (SAAB people know what that is).  NOTE: he also had the original dealer brochures and the window sticker as well.  Thanks Joe!

The car was like new, except for a few scatches under the front bumper and the steering wheel being off center, it was perfect.  It was spotlessly clean, it smelled like a new car, (not with loads of detail perfume to cover everything up).  The glass was spotless, even on the inside! 

For the signing of the paperwork, I had a little bit of a wait due to the busyness of a car dealership on a nice saturday afternoon in (Chicago), in February, but that was a good sign, people are standing in line waiting to buy a car from them!  So, that confirmed in my mind, I was at a good place.

Once I started my 9 1/2 hour drive home in my new car, I enjoyed the car more with every mile, I hit rain, wind, snow, freezing rain and even fog along the way. It drove great.  The next day I had a minor issue and I had sent Joe an email.  Within a few days, they got back to me and had solved the problem.  

Bottom line, I stumbled onto a great group of people that just happened to have the car I was looking for.  I do recommend them and if SAAB ever comes back, I will consider buying my new 9-5 wagon from them.  But next time, I will not make the trip up and back the same day!  Thanks Gartner!


First Car Buying Experience That Felt Good About the Service - Gartner Hyundai

This is the first car buying experience where I felt good about the service I received and the price I paid. My wife and I drove on the lot about an hour before closing on a Saturday. Russ Rigo greeted us and answered our questions about a used Nissan Rogue they had. At no time did we feel like we were being pushed out since they were getting ready to close. Instead Russ was happy to get the keys so we could have a test drive. Russ wasn't pushy but rather informative and was more interested in our needs rather than trying to make a sale. Russ was very happy to hold the car till Monday. When we came back, Russ greeted us by name (1st time that's ever happened to me at a dealership) and got the keys for us to take another drive. I will recommend Gartner Hyundai to anyone wanting to purchase a vehicle! And if I'm still in the area in the future, my next auto purchase will definitely be from Gartner Hyundai! Thanks Russ!

Most Pleasant and Straight Forward Car Buying Experience Ever!

I just purchased a new car from your dealership, and I wanted to take a moment to let you know that it was one of the most pleasant and straight forward car buying experiences I have ever had. Your associate Jordan Kabranov helped me when I visited your dealership and took the time to allow me to compare vehicles, drive the vehicles I wanted to and at the end gave me a straight forward price that was very fair. There was not the usual back and forth, I asked for a price and he gave it to me. In addition, he and your finance folks found me the car I wanted from another dealership, and kindly gave me a loaner car until they could get it as my rental agreement from the insurance company was up. Jordan even took the time to pick me up at the rental agency.

I will recommend your dealership and Jordan every chance I get.

Thank you to Mike Wiley, Brian Schwarz and Bob Walker of the sales team for making my first Hyundai purchase the most pleasant car purchase ever.    I stopped in for a test drive and information on the new 2012 Hyundai Elantra and spoke with Bob Walker.  I fell in love with the car, but had to wait a few days for the perfect model to be delivered.

That's when Mike Wiley from the sales team called and said the requested car was ready for me to check out.  I had already decided to buy the vehicle so it was a simple process completing the financing request online.  When I arrived at the dealership to complete the transaction, the car was prepped and ready to go.

Mike Wiley gave me a thorough explanation on the car's features and especially the navigation package.  I greatly appreciated his extensive knowledge and the extra attention he focused on features I wanted to use.  I can see he is an asset to the team if a consumer wants to know how to use the navigation feature.  

When I worked with the financial expert, Jason, to close the deal, it was a very easy process, including review of the vehicle and financing options.

Due to the exceptional service provided by the Gartner Hyundai team, and especially Mike Wiley, I will enthusiastically recommend the dealership and product line to my friends and family.

Thank you Gartner Hyundai for my exciting new 2012 Elantra!   I will be very happy with this car for many years.

Great Customer Service - Not Pushy - Happy Sonata Buyer at Gartner Hyundai in Aurora, IL

Great Salesman ! Didn't feel any pressure to buy ! My experience at Gartner Hyundai Saab was a overall good one. This was my first time purchasing a car on my own so I was a little nervous that a salesman would try to get over on me or pressure me to buy. I worked with the salesman Martin (I think they call him Art) and he gave me quality customer service from beginning to the end.  If you are looking to purchase a car without having a pushy salesman go to Gartner Hyundai Saab and ask for Martin.....He really made my car buying experience a pleasure !...I am so happy with my 2012 Hyundai Sonata !!!!!
