We had an excellent experience with our salesperson, Dave. Since we bought a used car, and since the car was an online deal, we were not able to negotiate any money off the online sale price. The good thing, though, was that we could not find any model of the same year with comparable mileage anywhere in the Chicagoland areas near the price we paid out the door. Everything comparable had a $2000-$3000 higher asking price. We felt as though we were slightly lowballed on the price of our trade-in. Dave was great to work with--very accomodating and easy-going. Absolutely no high pressure sales tactics. We would definitely shop here agin.

Buying a new car has always been my worst nightmare, but the minute we walked into Gartner Hyundai my wife and I were greeted by our salesman, Eddie Gawli, who made our entire experience a pleasure and without the "usual" pressured sales pitch. If we rated our salesman it would be a 10. From Eddie, we also had the pleasure of finalizing our agreement with Scott, the Sales Manager, who was very calm, direct, and made our decision easy as he covered all the bases and was as upfront with us as anyone could be. The rating for Scott, also a 10... Then we had to finalize our experience with finance and Joe also made this portion of our experience pleasurable and easy. Joe, not to be left out also rates a 10. To end our review, we went from nightmare to a very warm, personable experience at Gartner and would definitely return or refer to this dealer ship and the people who work there.

Ahmad from the start was a great help to me. I came in wanting a particular color/model/features and Ahmad didn't stop until he found me what I wanted and I couldn't be happier.

Enter your review here I have just purchased my second Santa Fe from Gartner and the reason is Erik. When I went in to look at the Santa Fe I explained I was just looking and Erik was fantastic. He explained the differences Hyundai has made since I purchased my Santa Fe 4 years ago but also what has stayed the same. He explained the differences in engines completely so that I could understand since I do not do mechanics well. Erik was not "pushy" but was very patient answering all my questions. I ended up purchasing a new Santa Fe from Gartner and it was because of Erik. Interesting enough though was the pleasant experience of Gartner. It was a combined effort of Erik, Jason and finance that got me into my new Santa Fe. I am telling everyone to go to Gartner. One last point is that I found it interesting that everyone was friendly and helpful. Everyone had a smile on their faces and everyone offered assistance - it shows Gartner has a great team.

Dave was very courteous and willing to explain different warranty options and pricing options. He was willing to act as a buffer between myself and employees involved in other aspects of buying the car when communication was lacking. Overall, he made the experience go as smooth as possible and offered to help where applicable.

Plainfield Hyundai Customer Says He Will Be Back to Buy from Gartner Hyundai Again!
WE ORIGINALLY CAME IN TO THE DEALERSHIP TO LOOK AT THE TUCSON, BUT WE DECIDED THAT THE SONATA WAS THE BETTER CHOICE FOR US. WE WERE GREETED VERY WARMLY BY MICHAEL AND HE ANSWERED ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS. HE WORKED HARD TO GET US THE BEST DEAL POSSIBLE.
WE DID HAVE TO POINT OUT THAT THE PAY OFF WAS NOT VERIFIED WHEN WE WENT IN TO SIGN THE PAPER WORK BUT IT'S A SATURDAY AND IT'S LATE WHEN PEOPLE GET HUNGRY, SO NO BIG DEAL.
THE ONLY THING I WAS UPSET ABOUT WAS THE FACT I DIDN'T WANT THE CARGO NET, MATS OR THE IPOD CORD AND THOSE ITEMS WERE NOT REMOVED OFF THE CAR OR PRICE.
OVERALL, VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE AND WE WILL RETURN TO BUY A NEW VEHICLE IN A FEW YEARS

Hmmm, that was an interesting switch in vehicles, a Hyundai Tucson to a Hyundai Sonata. Sounds like you made an educated decision, and looks like Mike Miranda was the right person to help you with that.
In regards to the iPod Cable, etc, I do apologize. Hyundai has been loading the majority of their cars up with these port installed accessories. Because nearly 90% of our inventory is equipped with these items, we made the decision not to take them off and simply put them on another car. Usually, Hyundai only puts all those extra's on a few cars, so, in most cases, we can do the swap. I hope you understand.

Our experience with the salesman Ahmad Aburas, the business manager Scott Lupo and the friendliness among those that work at the dealer was the most pleasant we have every experienced. My phone conversation with Alex which was the person that responed from the internet department which was very professional. I explained that I wanted a hassel free sales person and that is exactly what he gave me. Ahmad Aburas was the best. We left the dealer feeling stress free.
