Dear Mr. Gartner,

First, let me thank you for a fine product and excellent service.  My Hyundai Santa Fe, my first, has brought nothing but pleasurable driving and reliable service.  Your service department is considerate and efficient.  I wanted, though, to share a particular experience that was remarkable and very much appreciated.

A light appeared on my dashboard panel that was a mystery to me and after referring tomy car manual was of concern.  I immediately drove to your service department where I was greeted by a man walking by, Norbert.

Norbert quickly determined the cause was the detached cord attaching the gas cap to the place where the gas goes had kept it from completely closing.  When I mentioned that the cord had been broken for a long time and that I was told there was no way to repair it, he excused himself for a moment and returned with an innovative way to repair it.

For him to take the time to do this empressed me greatly.  For him to create such an innovative solution on such a random problem was also impressive.

If I were a business owner, it would please me greatly to know I had on staff a person who happened to be walking by but took the time to inquire as to my problem and then made special efforts to remedy it.  The creative thinking is an added bonus.  Kudos to you and to Norbert.  Thank you.
