If the lines at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show are any indication as to the future demand on the 2012 Hyundai Azera, we can tell you, this will be one hard to find car.  Some of the staff here at Gartner Hyundai visited the Auto Show this past week.  Hyundai's display was phenomenal; crowds of people around every car, especially the Azera.



The 2012 Hyundai Azera was originally scheduled to hit Gartner Hyundai's inventory in February/March.  However, Hyundai wants to be sure this car is 110% ready, and is doing a few last minute inspections and tests to insure the quality will exceed customer expectations. Therefore, the all new Azera should be rolling off the trucks sometime in April.

Pricing, though, for the completely redesigned 2012 Hyundai Azera has just been released to Gartner Hyundai.  Unlike previous years, the new Azera will be offered in just one model as opposed to the GLS and Limited models in the past.

The new, extraordinarily well-equipped Azera will start off at an MSRP of $32,000 (before destination) and $36,000  (before destination) for the range-topping Azera with the Technology Package.  The all-new 2012 Azera offers a host of new standard features making it better equipped than the previous generations.  Some of these new standard features include:

Best-In-Class combined fuel economy of 23 mpg
293 Horsepower

The second-generation Azera is a bold interpretation of Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture design (as seen on the Sonata, Elantra, Accent and Tucson).  It's sleek, sophisticated style creates the illusion of constant motion.  The Azera represents a modern approach to the traditional, large sedan segment by offering an advanced powertrain, bold design, premium features and class-leading safety features.  

The 2012 Hyundai Azera has a more modern, youthful look about it than its predecessors, without sacrificing the luxury and/or eloquence that a premium sedan should portray.  The Azera is ready to defy traditional large sedan sales leaders such as the Nissan Maxima, Buick LaCrosse, Toyota Avalon, Honda Accord and Ford Taurus.  Azera's standard premium features also raise the bar for the large sedan segment - navigation with rearview back-up camera, heated front and rear seats and LED headlight accents.  The 2012 Azera offers first-class seating and comfort for ALL passengers with standard leather interior, power front driver and passenger seats, optional rear side window, rear sunshade and ventilated front seats.
